Good Evening! I feel like I don’t focus enough on the men of Etsy. As a woman, it’s very easy to get carried away making a wishlist for myself, but I think it’s just as important to highlight not only male artists, but items made specifically for men! The more I think about it, the more I want to have a day of the week for a man post.

Cocobolo Wood 24mm Silvertip Badger Shaving Brush Handle (handmade) by PCwoodcraftandPens

I have no idea how this type of shaving works (even though I’ve watched Sweeney Todd like a million times) but this shaving brush is really REALLY awesome. PCwoodcraftandPens also uses badger hair which I am not sure if it is standard or popular, but since I have never seen badger hair ANYTHING (that I know of), I took a step back and said, “whoa.”

My favourite part of this brush though has to be the natural wooden handle. I’m all for fance and elaborations, but there is something so simple and masculine about natural wood that I love.

Now any man out there who has the sand to shave with a straight razor has my utmost respect. Then again, I’m the type of girl who can knick her knees with a razor made of cotton balls so maybe that isn’t saying much. Point is, I think they are really classy and impressive.

JPColeStudios takes it one step further, refurbishing these old beauties and adding that gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous metal work in an intricate, yet not at all feminine design. I never pictures scroll work to be so manly!

Seriously, this is the razor of a man sporting Hessians and a cravat; a man who can wear ruffles and lace and look damn sexy doing it.

BLACK TEA and LEATHER Aftershave Lotion by Man Cave Soapworks

I never really understood the point of  aftershave nor do I have any knowledge of it’s purpose, but please. Anything leather scented is welcome in my home. Actually, it is encouraged. I have a leather car jar from Yankee Candle because leather seats weren’t enough. Aftershave or not, I’m pretty sure that if I bought this for Adam, I would probably end up stealing it for myself.

But it’s not just this. ManCave1 (Man Cave Soapworks)’s entire shop is filled with manly grooming products. In fact, it’s a no girls allowed zone! (Sorry; I was so excited I had to share! =P) I feel like so many men nowadays use the products that their wives bring home for them and just roll with it. Come on guys; bath and body isn’t just  for the ladies!

I’m not sure if I have them convinced, so ladies, treat your man to some specially-for-men-super-manly B&B products.

Tonight’s cheesy title is brought to you by a hair salon I used to go to as a kid. Hair salons, I feel, definitely can get the most use out of puns and I love that. Also, because I just dyed my hair I figured why not make the finds revolve around hair and the fashion of.

Hair accessories are definitely something I am lacking as far as fashions go. I have a tendency to wear the same headband and/or flowers (from Claires) every day. I definitely need to start sprucing it up.

This hair comb is the bomb. I love the subject (though my best friend might have a heart attack, as she is afraid of butterflies) and the contrast of the true-to-life butterflies against the more ethereal ones. The fact that the comb curves with the contour of the head instead of being one blaring piece adds an aura of class and makes it much easier for the eye to follow.

Multi Black and White Fabric Hair Curlers size Medium by PurplePinwheel

Oh man oh man do I love me some rollers. PurplePinwheel‘s fabric rollers are just what every girl needs, too. I had never tried hot rollers, and I’m not partial to foam rollers. I am currently using satin rollers (not as fancy as they sound) which I am satisfied with, but they still pinch.

These fabric rollers here are not only super super super cute and available in different sizes depending on how tight you want your curls, but they must be so comfortable to sleep in! My  hair is so super dead from all the colour and heat I’ve abused it with that I have to curl wet, then sleep in rollers, then get on with half my day before I can even consider taking them out. I would probably forget these were even in and go to the Post Office in them hehe. So cute.

Sweet Pea Scented Refreshing Protein Hair Mist by SakuraBathandBody

Speaking of my hair being dead.. SakuraBathandBody might just have something that could help it out a little bit.

My poor silky baby soft hair inherited by my father has turned coarse, dull, and lifeless. Sad times. That is why this hair mist excites me so. It’s hydrating, strengthening, conditioning AND it smells like sweet pea, which is one of my favourite floral scents (lilac is my favourite, in case you were wondering).

Who wouldn’t want to condition their hair AND make it smell good? I know I do.
